When rubberized handles on old tools wear off, it can be difficult to replace them; you need a tight fit, but stretching stiff rubber onto a shaft, and working it all the way down, is just about impossible due to friction.

This Re-Grip product features a clever way to get it onto your handle of choice. The rubber cylinder ships in a stretched-out position, held in place by a plastic cylinder inside. This cylinder can be unraveled, allowing the rubber cylinder to tighten up right onto your handle:
