Hi everyone, I’ve always felt that clicking buttons or swiping on a screen doesn't capture the actual "feel" of hitting a cover drive. Over the last few days, I've been working on CricFit, a project where your phone becomes the bat. How it works: The game uses your phone's internal sensors and laptop/PC's webcam to track your actual swing path, speed, and timing. If you're late on the ball, you'll edge it. If you middle it, it goes further. The Wagonwheel: I’ve also implemented a tracking system that shows exactly where you've been scoring (attached in the comments). I'm a solo dev and would love to get some feedback from people who actually know and love the game. Does the shot-physics look and feel good to you? Please DM me to try it out, I can also add the link in comments if it's okay with the Mods. It's completely free and just needs a laptop/PC with webcam and a smartphone. submitted by /u/coderboi93 |
