The 2025 Hong Kong Super Sixes started on Friday (November 7) – here’s where to watch the tournament live on TV and digital platforms.
How many teams are playing in Hong Kong Sixes 2025?
After a brief hiatus from 2017, the Hong Kong Super Sixes returned for its second consecutive season. In this tournament, 12 teams divided into four groups will be vying for the title, including hosts Hong Kong (China).
A match spans around 45 minutes, with each team containing six players. An innings lasts six overs, and bowlers are limited to bowling a maximum of two overs and can’t bowl two overs in succession. A batter must retire after reaching fifty but can resume if all other teammates have been dismissed.
Here are the Hong Kong Sixes 2025 groups:
Pool A: South Africa, Afghanistan, Nepal
Pool B: Australia, England, UAE
Pool C: India, Pakistan, Kuwait
Pool D: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong (China)
The top two sides from each group advance to the quarter-finals, with the winners reaching the semi-finals. The losing teams from the four quarter-finals will compete in the Plate semi-finals. All third-placed teams will compete in the Bowl League in a round-robin format, with the top two teams playing in the Bowl Final.
